I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board-Approved Supervisor in Oklahoma, a National Certified Counselor, a Board Certified-TeleMental Health Provider, and a PK-12 Certified School Counselor in Oklahoma.
In addition to private practice, I am professor of counseling and have experience in course development and instruction in both land-based and online clinical mental health counseling programs. Since 2006, I have been an active member of the Oklahoma Counseling Association and was named Counselor of the Year in 2015. I have served in leadership roles including President of the Northeast Region of the Oklahoma Counseling Association and President of the Oklahoma Association for Counselor Education and Supervision.
I have specialized training for the use of art in counseling. Upon request, I can incorporate the use of basic art materials to enhance the counseling process beyond words. Incorporating visual images and symbols can bring new insights and awareness that can be powerful tools for change.
In my free time, I enjoy being with family, friends, my dogs, and nature. That is a little bit about me, and I look forward to learning about you in the future!
